The Olympics are about 1 month away. I love Olympic ice skating…especially Michelle Kwan. It is just weird how the Olympics work, though, in our culture. They are just so big for that little period of time every two years, and then we never hear anything else from that person/person(s)/team for another four years, usually. Well, only unless you are an avid watcher of that sport on TBS or ESPN2. I guess you get my drift. I just love the storytelling about the athletes. Those little mini video-portraits always make me cry.

Well, just have to cross my fingers extra hard for Michelle this year. If she doesn’t win the gold, I bet she won’t try for another win…she prob. would be too old by then. But, I guess that depends on her determination. We’ll see. 🙂
