There’s not a lot of new shows coming on this season that I’ve been pumped up to watch, but there was something about that Chuck show that drew me in. I don’t know if it was the multiple online promotions or the premise that drew the most attention, but it kinda reminded me of an Aliasesque spin and back in the day, I loved me some Alias. Anyway, I watched it and I’m happy to report that it was very cute and very good. I noticed that McG directed it (the same guy who directed all those Charlie’s Angels movies). Anyway, it was action-packed, mixed in one with one part romance, one part geek funny. The character was immediately endearing. I kept trying to figure out who the actor was that was playing Chuck, an a quick IMDB search revealed that he played the snarky a-hole on that show a few years ago, Less than Perfect. So, if you get a chance, check it out next week. I give it two thumbs up.

So, I just put in a load of laundry at 11:00pm. There’s a sign on the door that says…Please be considerate of your neighbors. Use the laundry facility b/w 8am and 11pm. Well, I don’t really see it as that big a deal…even though it is just a few steps away, I can’t hear it from my apartment and I doubt anyone else can (don’t you like my reasoning?). It would be different if the washer were noisy or off-track, but I guess what I’m saying is….I just don’t care.

I have seriously had a craving all week for pumpkin baked goods, coffees, smells. I need to find a good body lotion or wash that is pumpkiny. Last year, I had one from Bath and Body works, but there was something just a bit off about it. Actually I went in there yesterday, and their new fall scents are pretty stinky. The lady gave me some to test and it really was strong! Reminded me of Grandma perfume, so you’ve been forwarned if one of those beaming employees follow you around…come to think about, don’t those employees remind you of car salesmen? They are always trying to hawk product on you.
