I have been promoting RSS feeds for a while to all my friends and I really, really want them to listen. Well, part of the prob. is that RSS feeds are confusing for those who don’t know how to use them, so I did a little research and came up with some very basic sites that explain the process. I promise, it is very painless and it will really open your mind to the way you view blogs (no more clicking over from site to site in your bookmarks to see if your friend has updated). It’s also a super great way to keep up on trends and your areas of interest. At any given point during the day, I can keep up with feeds on photography, crafts, fashion, and craft industry stuff. It is a Godsend!!!
Check out www.RSSDAY.org for a basic overview and it will only take a couple minutes. Also, this site, Men with pens tells you how to open up a Google Reader account, which is the RSS feed that I use and find very easy to organize and navigate around.
One of the really cool features is that you can fave and mark things you like and also share cool things with friends! In fact, check out some of these really cool links, if it strikes your fancy of projects and products I wanted to share with you, my cool blog friends.
Hope this helps you in your internet journies! It has helped me to be in the know in so many ways, it isn’t even funny!!!
See you in RSS land, Swellions!

There’s also RSS the Oprah Way on Back In Skinny Jeans.
Using a feed reader changed my life.
I can’t imagine life before feed readers….Back in the days when we had to walk miles in the snow, uphill, without shoes.
I still don’t know what a feed reader is….
Ok, I watched the video. I know what that little soundwave icon does.
