Crafty shoutouts

Even when I’m not crafting, I’m still checking the google reader updates and visiting my twitter page and keeping up with my crafty friends, and hitting some really cool sites like Craft Stylish(the content reminds me of the old Adorn mag) and My Craftivity.

I know that sometime’s I’m in my own little world in my blog and throughout my day, but I do visit a lot of blogs and check in on others so I’d like to share a few of them here. These are all ladies who’ve been supportive of me in way of comments and nic words, so if you are crafty like me, please check them out! Heck, even if you’re not crafty check them out! You can learn something! There’s a lot o’ creative folks out there who do this blog thing like I do and appreciate a new guest every now and then! We’re all in this thing together!

In no particular crafty order, shoutouts are due for:

Collage Contessa
– An amazing mixed media artist! So super inspiring! Here’s her blog and find her stuff on etsy here

Courtney Watson – She makes amazing twisted telephone wire bracelets that are super colorful! Find her blog here and her Etsy shop here.

Jenn Thorson has an amazing blog devoted to thrift shopping finds. She loves the 1950’s stuff as much (probably more) than I do!

Casserole has a fun life/craft blog that’s truly adorable. Check it out here. I particularly adore her recent post on her daughter who dressed up as Elvis for Halloween (rhinestone jumpsuit and all) and then revisited the costume for a night out to see an Elvis impersonator. She also has an Etsy site…visit her cool, crafty creations here. She’s into a wide variety of crafts like me!

Soapylove’s blog is super inspiring. She has such unique ideas on making custom soaps – so many fresh, new ideas! She also has a web site where she sells all her fresh and clean finds. You can find it here. The photograph and layout of her shop is great and I just love her “soap fountain” girl holding the soap popsicles! So swell.

Well, that’s it for now. If you know of any other crafty blogs out there that I just have to check out, please let me know! I’m always scouting them out 🙂

Until next time swellions!!!
