I don’t buy purses very often. I tend to ware them out and then I have to finally break down and buy one. Last weekend, this was the case for sure. My little vintage handbag I had carried around (it had interchangeable bags that buttoned on) was literally falling apart – the hinges were coming off the handles. Then a bag that my friend Diane bought me for my birthday totally was ripping apart at the seams. It was a mess!
So, I wanted to get something that was unique, roomy, and inexpensive. I am not one to spend hundreds of dollars on a purse. I actually have several purses stashed away, but they are too little or unusual to really use on a daily basis. I usually go with a basic black ( I don’t really understand why I gravitate toward black…I do have a pretty colorful personality overall, I think).
Here’s the one I ended up getting! It’s a BCBG bag and I got it at Ross for only $45!! Woohoo! It was like a $180 bag. I was a little afraid that if I got it, it might be a little more sophisticated than I think I am style-wise, but I don’t think I have much to worry about. It’s a slouch bag and that goes with anything, especially anything casual!
Well, still trying to keep this cold away. I bought Zicam, orange juice, Shower Soothers, Vick’s VapoRub, and sticky heating pads tonight. Then I used the Neti Pot (I know people think it’s weird, but it cleans stuff out!!) and I even ordered Chamomile Peppermint Tea from Starbucks. I have never ordered hot tea from there before. It was pretty good!
Hope you have a great Friday! Until next time Swellions!
