I simply can’t resist Halloween mags! I must buy Martha’s Halloween magazine each year as well as the BH&G Halloween issue. It’s a tradition for me each year. I saw a couple of other Halloween mags, but the content wasn’t all that great. Both Martha’s and BH&G offer new, fresh ideas each year and that’s what I’m looking for….something I haven’t seen. Admittedly, though, I notice even these magazines reuse articles and ideas from years past…good news, though, both of these issues didn’t contain a lot of ads. I’m always bummed when I buy a holiday mag only to find that 16-32 pages are devoted to selling giftwares from their brand.
Here’s some of the mags and books from previous years that I’ve collected. I need to go through them and get inspired! As far as content goes in these mags, I’m more into the decor and crafts, and not so much the food crafts. I find that I don’t really have a lot of time to make unique edible creations each year. Maybe if I threw more parties…maybe.
Anyway, just wanted to share my stash o’ mags.
Until next time Swellions!

Hiya! I just wanted to thank you for all the Halloween eye candy and craft ideas. I LOVE Halloween, found your blog last October, and have been following it ever since. This is actually the first year I’ve picked up any Halloween special edition magazines though. I have the BH&G already, but now I need to search for Martha’s as well! Anyway, thanks for all the inspiration. 🙂
The family fun halloween mag is pretty great (although, I admit, I didn’t look at the pricetag before I bought it and was a tad shocked to pay $9.99)
