Last night, I watched the season premiere of Mad Men. It took me a little bit of time to catch up and see where the plotline was at. It was off the air for almost 18 months afterall! Anyway, I just love the clothing, decor and styling during the 60’s, so I was excited for the return. I have an appreciation for the mid-century look and want to incorporate it into my own home! My home was built in 1959 after all.
There’s a lot of fun DIY ideas out there right now, but one of the best crafty spots I’ve found celebrating Mad Men is at Mad in Crafts. Appropriate title for her blog, huh? You’ll find all kinds of fun throwback ideas there, everything from recipes and accessories to fun decor revamps. Check out one of my fave projects featured on Mad In Crafts, Joan’s necklace pen created by Heather Mann of Dollar Store Crafts as seen above.
Theres’s some super swell posts you won’t want to miss out on, like her revamp of 2 mid-century chairs. Don’t you love her play on the opening credit graphic? So fun!
Until next time Swellions!

I have never watched the show, Mad Men. I have been hearing a lot of hoopla about it over the internet. I am going to tune in and see what it is all about. :o) Thanks for sharing and have great day.
