It’s so hard to say goodbye to crafty creations

craft-supplies-chaos

I’m pretty good about painting a fun picture on my blog for my readers to see of my crafty world.  The truth is, my supplies and stuff is still out of control, even after having moved into my new house two months ago!  It’s not surprising, organization has NEVER been my strong suit, so piddly trinkets, beads, and half done projects can be found littered around bins, in suitcases, and drawers.

Haha, you may even have seen some of these projects on my blog before, in this stash are the remains of my googly eye necklace, patriotic wine charms, and earrings seen on the cover of a book.

Tonight I was going through one such craft box and realized that the crafty creations I so passionately made 3 or 4 years ago, need to go to a better crafty place.  I have so many  rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and fobs coming out my ears that I don’t want anymore.  They simply are just taking up space now and they kinda get on my nerves. Isn’t that terrible thing to say about the things you once loved?

OK, looking at the pic of the rings makes me a little wistful (a good depth of field can do that to you!). They are very pretty, but I know I won’t wear them like I should do. I’m more a necklace and earring girl than a ring girl. I only wear big rings for special occasions!  And if you’re wondering, I made these projects several years back for local craft shows, magazine submissions, and to sell in boutiques.

Here’s a little stash of earrings I made…some matching, some not. I like some of the beads, but don’t want to save them only to have to keep up with them.  I want to make my life simpler, not harder.

So, I was thinking…blog readers, if you’re interested in getting a special little package of trinkets, earrings, rings, pins, necklaces and whatnot, I’ll mail out a little package for you to enjoy!  When it comes to craft supplies, I like the idea of giving my stuff to a good home that WANTS them, ya know? It’s some pretty cute stuff and stuff to take apart and play with in your crafts too!

So leave me a comment below and include your email address if you’re interested!  I am not sure how many I’ll be able to send out (I’m thinking 5-10), but if I contact you, then I’ll mail you a swell package!

Until next time Swellions!

Buttons are so versatile, I love adding them to rings and bracelets! You trying to find a good home for your treasures reminds me of Toy Story and Andie trying to find a good home for his toys :). Is that weird?

I would love to get a package of your trinkets. My email is sarahsoliman2@gmail.com

I just found your blog thanks to a friend sending me the papers-on-the-wall project.

I adore big rings and wear them daily! and I like bright, jewel tone colors as well.

Did I miss the chance to get one of your original creations? 🙂

so nice of you to share your beloved craft stuff with someone! If it’s not too late, I’ve had a bit of a dry spell lately — perhaps your unwanted items might provide the jolt of inspiration that I’m needing! Thanks for being so very very generous!
