How to make a Handkerchief Pumpkin + Video Tutorial

Tonight I made this super cute pumpkin project in about 5 minutes!  I think it’s a great alternative pumpkin decorating idea if you are stretched for time.  And it’s a super cute way to add a fabric print to your pumpkins as well!

I decided to mix it up tonight and do a video tutorial for this one!  Watch it above. It’s really quick and to the point!

A couple things to note about this project:

– I covered up a pumpkin with a lot of glue stains on it, so this is a great project if you have any CraftFails you need to redo.

– The small foam pumpkins and handkerchiefs work well together, but you could use a larger piece of fabric cut to fit for a larger pumpkin.  I bet there’s some pretty fun prints and fabrics out there you could dream up.  This is a great way to infuse your home décor colors or to play with an unexpected fabric choice.

I think the pumpkin looks a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll! LOL.  There’s a lot of handkerchiefs out there with fun designs to get your own look!

Until next time Swellions!
